OK . .It goes without saying that the song should be someways good as well . .But this threads all about the VIDS. .So post up anything YOU like that's got a good video too it.

I was working night shift in the states when this was released and we kept hearing it on the radio, then I saw this on MTV during the day (back when MTV was watchable). .I went straight out & bought the album.

That Soundgarden one is good too, kinda like Placebo's Nancy Boy video, I think they've the same director.

I'd never seen that Madonna one. .Good stuff. .Wonder why it was the second most expensive music video ever made? And What was the first?

Now for those who don't know, and because I've just recently only figured it out myself, howto embed a youtube video onto the page, do the following.

I'll use TemptationWaits's link as an example

When you have your desired Vid up on youtube, on the address bar on the top of the page you'll see something along the lines of
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8oIwlL1DC8 so you just need copy this bit c8oIwlL1DC8 from the end of the link, then click the youtube button in the top right corner & paste it in between the center of the youtube tags

like this [YOU TUBE] c8oIwlL1DC8 [/YOU TUBE] but with no spaces.

radiohead's karma police. apparently the band didn't like the end product that was the video, saying that it didn't really capture the emotion of the song but i (FOR ONE) liked it a lot.

The first most expensive music video was that one with Janet and Michael Jackson, forget the name of the song. You can see in the Madonna one though that they spent a fair bit.

Always thought, I Want More (part 2) by Faithless was an amazing video. Features scenes from the documentary 'A State Of Mind' which followed two North Korean gymnasts training for and performing in a big North Korean dealy.

This is meant to be a visual representation of the song; each element in the video represents a different instrument. According to Gondry's notes, the androids represent the singing robot voice; the physicality and small-minded rapidity of the athletes symbolizes the ascending/descending bass guitar; the femininity of the disco girls represents the high-pitched keyboard; the "itchy" skeletons serve for the guitars; the mummies represent the drum machine.
