    Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew how to wire a turbo timer to a 02 new shape corolla D4D hatch.. My sister got the car and its her 1st turbo, shes planning on holding onto the car for a long time so were doin what we can to keep it goin trouble free.
I ordered this turbo timer for her

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=180608385631&Category=72205&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2#ht_2550wt_760

Thing is after I ordered it I remembered that her car has an immobiliser and a proximity chip in the key  Never thought of em! I know there has to be a way for the TT to work while still having the immobiliser, chip and R/central locking working. I just have no idea how to..
Im leaving the country in 3wks so wana have it in by then but i prob wont get it for another 2wks.. Cos I dont have it I cant try different things so if anyone can give me a step by step DIY or something it would be ideal..
I would like to wire everything i can for now (o2 sensor, handbrake etc) then i could tell her bf how to unwire stuff over the fone if she wants to change anything..
Thanx guys, i know this is the best place to ask to get a reply :D

She Dosen't need a turbo timer, its a childish device.
Anyway it will probably come with a wiring diagram, also it says for all makes and models. When ye get it post up a pic of the wiring diagram and i'll run it through with you.

That is a fake Apexi turbo timer.

It will not work with your cars security system as you will have a conflict if you lock the car and the timer still has the engine running as the immobiliser will try to kick in with the engine still running. This could lead to fault codes getting thrown up.

There is also no need for a turbo timer really, especially on a diesel, they are just a gimmick which are handy on older less complicated cars(or alarm systems) so you can lock the car and walk off while letting the turbo pressure and temperature wind down slowly. If she feels she has been driving the car hard enough to need this then 1, the engine won't last long without issues anyway and 2, it never takes more then 1 minute for intake and turbo temps to return to normal so she can just sit with the car idling for a short time after she stops.

a fake? really? balls.. how do u know?
I know that she juz has to sit in the car for a few min but the prob is i know she'l 4get and she put every penny she has into the car so if the turbo goes shes up sh!t creek! trust me theres no point in juz explaining what'l happen
The conflict with the immobiliser is what im trying to avoid, i know there has to be some way around it like.
I juz dont trust these new cars lik, more trouble than their worth

ya ill stick up a diagram when i get it (if i can, scanners bust) i know my way around the wiring of a car but immobilisers r a dark area! they shouldnt be cos i fit house security systems for a living!! haha

apexi charge 139 dollars for it on their american site so i doubt one for just under 10 pound is genuine
also what does he mean by serial number not included

A 02 Corolla D4D has only 90 bhp from its 2.0 litres - nowhere near enough to warrant a turbo timer being fitted. That engine will have a very stress free life with a relatively low power output, so with basic servicing it should top 200k miles.
