Samsung S8500 wave unlocking

Hey, has anyone had any luck at removing the network lock on the samsung wave? I'm on three and its locked to three, i don't actually want to change networks, i want to flash the new firmware onto it because by the look of things its not going to happen officially for the phone for a while.

I know i can pay for an unlock code of the provider but i would really prefer not to pay 27 euro + whatever amount of credit it will cost to unlock it? has anyone else tried to to this and done it?

There you go, if you order from that today you probably wont get the code untill Monday. I used this during the week, ordered on Monday and got it the next day. Very easy to do!!

It's only 15 euro and it takes only a few minutes. You need to use the usb cable.
