General Election Jobs 2011 Hi, im just wondering if anyone knows if there are jobs working at the polling stations on a election day. or if there is any jobs counting the votes etc..... And if so how do you apply for them Thanks Gamby :)

You will need to apply to your county registrar - find out who that person is on courts.ie

It's difficult to get positions as they are usually filled by those who have held the jobs in previous years but you may be lucky to get an available position - don't forget to mention in the letter if you'd be available to do the count also.
