Supply a garage door

    Im looking for a company that just supplies garage doors in the mayo area Got quotes for supplied and fitted but my brother will fit it for me and no one seems to want to sell me the door alone. My guess is they buy them cheap and add alot on to fit them. Im getting quotes for 500e approx fitted for an 8 x7 pvc coated manual roller door. there is not much to them. Surely they are fairly cheap.

    There's a builders providers that begins with C and ends with hadwicks that used to supply Henderson up and over doors, dont know about roller doors though. Surely what little warranty you'd get would be invalid if you fit it yourself.

    Also, they will have to charge you the full rate of VAT for supply only?

    That is cheap for a door.

    A 'proper' door would cost you a lot more.

    Considering that most places fit a door like that in an hour and a half, then the potential for savings is tiny.

    Oh, and yes - it's 21% VAT for Supply only, and 13.% VAT for supply & fit. So, supply & fit for 500, or 484 supply only. €16 ? .......cheap warranty, that is........
