    Hey all,

I know, mad, but have it in my head to get an old GT D, ever since I saw one on Autotrader and didnt have the balls to go for it (mint Golf, 13,000 on the clock, 1.6 D 1991  ).

I know all the pitfalls about buying old, buying low milage etc but I have it in my head, so wondering if anyone can help out with sources. I don't actually care if its a Golf, Jetta or Passat. Just love old cars and this would be perfect.

I've trolled the usual, Autotrader, Pistonheads, carandclassic but wondering, are there any other reputable sources I'm missing for my search?

I have found this Passat, looks V.clean but nothing else..

Any ideas where else to look ?

    thanks

    fbp.

Expect to pay big money for a clean GTD they're more sought after than the equivalent GTI model.

Thanks for the VAG link :) checked it out, pretty slow-moving I guess. Missed a big beat with the GT-D, was on Autotrader for £1300, won't see the likes again, I'm open to paying up to £2k but not worth more to me....

    Guess I keep lookin'

    Thanks
