Selling Bonus Shares

    Hi,

I was given shares by a previous employer as part of a bonus scheme, which have now matured. They have fortunately done quite well and I am now looking to sell them. I have received the certificates through the post from the UK company, but can anyone tell me the best way to go about selling them? Is there anything I should consider when doing this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Is the company listed on exchange? if so, you should just be able to bring the cert to any stock broker and they can sell them for you.
Of course they will charge you a fee for dematerialising the cert (prob about 30 euro) and then you will have to pay the usual commission for the sale.
