    Hello All,

I've been driving this vehicle up North (as in NI) since it had about 40K miles on it. It came from England where it was driven by a colleague who left. It's on a UK registration, current mileage is 82K, full service history including timing belt and water pump job at 74K. Vector Sport Model with "Business" upgrade (nav, heated seats etc.)

Thing is, cosmetically it's not the best. Some small dents at the left and right rear doors and a few scratches, towbar shaped hole in the front bumper caused by, uhm, a towbar...all damage was done before I got the vehicle.

So technically 100%, cosmetically I'd say 6 maybe 7 out of 10, what's that worth and would it be worth our while selling it here or should we focus on the North only?

    All opinions appreciated people.

In a private sale, a UK import registered here might fetch about €12k, so a realistic asking price would be about €9k, and be prepared to take offers of €7-8k depending on the extent of the damage and who ever is making an offer :D

The tax band is D (€447 per year) which is a bit better than the old cc based system of a car with the same size engine. Try use that as a sales point :D

Out of interest, what would you expect to get if you sold it back up North / in the UK

OP, unless you are a motor trader and have a TAN you cannot offer a UK-registered vehicle for sale in Ireland. It must be Irish-registered and have VRT paid first.
