Theres an american made steam cleaner mop being plugged alot on the TV shopping channels.

Supposedly,it can do everything. Its on the Irish TV shopping channels that come on after midnight on the digital TV,and it 99 euro plus 13 euro postage.

I dont know if its any good or just utter crap though??

I have heard mixed reviews about it.

We have had a Light n' Easy Elite for the last 18 months or so and to be honest at this stage I am sick of it.

It worked fine for about a year and then seemed to give up, it seemed to make less steam and was not as effective.
Also the pads are not great.
They attach to the base with Velcro and after a while that wares down, as a result the pad slip a lot.

We have checked in local and bigger hardware stores (Homebase etc.) for steamers but no luck.

We will be in Dublin at the weekend and will look for one there, if we cannot find one we will buy the one from the TV.

Anyone know a good shop in Dublin that may stock a good steamer ?

I see the VAX STEAM CLEANER - V081 in DID Electrical.

It's not a steam mop as such but just a steamer (and may be just as good)

    Web reviews seem Ok

Anyone got first hand experiences ?
