    Not for personal use.

A taxi driver will whip it up. I did a college project last semester and the owner of a taxi firm told me he paid a few grand for a number like that...it was landline though if that makes a difference.

If hot women with no pens and poor memory were frequently asking for my number, then I may invest in it :)

It sounds expensive but its actually a bargain, if you think about it say a taxi driver or restaurant that delivers you would be quite surprised at how much more business they actually get with a phone number that easy to remember.

beaten to it damn slow typing :D

be a great number for a brazzer.... you'll always remember it when on the drink.

Ha, my mobile is soooo similar and I have been offered money for it also.

Course it's worth the money, an easy to remember number is crucial.

Especially if it's on a van or something and people have seconds to memorise it.

I have 666 in my number and people think they are so witty with their comments when they are told

Keep it up, I've heard them all before

As for that number OP, some business might buy it.

    Hell NO,
I've been a kid and these kind of numbers get prank phone calls all the time.

I have an easy number like that. I got mine for free when Esat at the time came here. I worked for them at the time but a golden number that time was 250 pound.

The reason they are trying to sell it as a lucky number is because of all the 8's in it.

As far as I remember the number 8 in Chinese means good fortune and wealth in your life. So a number with lots of 8's can be sold for up to €500 as far as I know.

I was offered £500 for my number a good few years ago... :)

Your right though, the chinese word for 8 sounds similar to the one for prosper, big money would be made for a mobile number there with all 8`s in it.

Often saw some cool numbers when we are checking off the delivery of phones about 10 years ago, never bothered using any of them just kept them for businesses or who ever was lucky enough to need the next new connection pack.

Just call each of the 9 possible numbers and ask for Darren.

I suppose a business might be interested, where we would not.

When I got my first mobile I was working for a company that was a big customer of TE so our account manager visited us to sort out the mobiles. He had a book of numbers with him and we could pick out the one we liked, was cool.
