    Hi,

    Can anybody help?

Our house was robbed last week and they took our (hard saved for) ipads!! One of them had the "Find my iphone" on it which showed the ipad to be in an estate in west Dublin. They have since wiped that ipad. The "location" that was suggested came from the "assited-GPS" wifi of the ipad and was not "exact" enough for the guards to act on.

I think i've done all the obivious things but any suggestions on how to track it or generate a lead would be much appriciated.

(Apple were sympathic but very useless!!)

It's been a tough week for us, so some hope would be very helpful.

    Many thanks,

    GtG

It's a hard one to face. Sorry for yor loss. What I'd do is to make sure you leverage Apple in conjunction with the guards. Eventually the serial number will be paired with a new iTunes account that will hopefully have a credit card stored with it. If the guards got apple to disclose it (being a criminal case to ensure data protection rules aren't broken) well, then you'd have an address and name and email and phone number.

    Hope it works out.
