Discovery 3 TDV6 noise

I installed a blanking kit for the EGR valves on my Land Rover Discovery 3 TDV6 that I bought from Basremaps.

However since I did this there is a noise out of the engine or perhaps the turbo when you put your foot down. It isn't usually there at low revs but from around 1750 it can be heard.

I'd speak to Pete at BAS, doubt whether there's anyone on here with D3 experience. It could be something resonating, did you disturb anything else fitting it. What sort of noise is it, the kit may just have affected the exhaust note?

I just sent an email to BAS and am waiting on a response. I reckon that the noise is coming from the turbo but am not totally sure.

I've never worked on a TdV6 but check the obvious like dislodged intake and intercooler hoses or something else you may have disturbed.

Is it a humming/whining sound? I take it you know the sound of a turbo? It does that naturally and louder when chipped.
