What would the diagnosis be for someone that doubts their own thoughts, feeling and judgement almost all the time. What are the causes of extreme self-doubt?

just as in physical disorders, the same symptom can appear in many different disorders: a headache can be a symptom of many things (including just headache!). In the same way, doubting, intrusive thoughts, 'paranoia' and other symptoms can be part of different disorders.

We do not diagnose here for this and other reasons.

Ok, is there any other more clinical word for self-doubting in psychology?

Well as self doubt is such an ambiguous term, it can be difficult to define as it can range from poor self believe to self loathing, lack of confidence etc.

Would someone who has grown up with a narcissistic parent develop extreme self doubt?

Self-doubting will do fine. It comes up a lot in OCD! And low self-esteem and in other stuff too.

Maybe, maybe not. There is never a definate answer to this kind of question in psychology - there are way too many variables: who else is around (Aunts, grandparents, older sibs, wider family); personality; environment (school, pals, teachers, other influences); developmental stage; etc etc.
