I realise this is the 'investments' forum, but i haven't seen any alternative investments e.g. timber or venture capital talked about.

To be honest, 200 euro isn't going to go very far in alot of things. Would you not consider building it up in savings to at least 1000?

The only thing i could think of would be a spread betting account but your not interested in stocks so im assuming that's all derivatives/commodities/fx out?

Did you have anything in mind at all or was posting a thread the 1st thought?

Chicken coop, half a dozen hens and a few bags of feed.

As stated €200 is too little for anything meaningful but could be a lot of money to some-one depending on there situation so.....,
you could try scouring the Free ads papers, Done Deal etc for freebies and Bargain items then try and sell them on for a profit.
You could also try to pick up a cheap greyhound and Breed her then sell the pups or train them......at least you'd get good exercise and be healthy if anything!!:D

    To the bookies!
Bet on all things with names beginning in the first half of the alphabet to win.

When that is all lost and you're done mucking about, head towards some Rabo investment funds with your next 200 a month.

All good suggestions. nice one. I'm unemployed and wont be getting much more money in(that 200 euro was birthday money). I could top it up with some dole money if i decide on what i want to invest.

p.s. i've never won anything betting money so i'd say thats not the route.
