Has anyone got a work stand for sale. Preference is for a stand that raises the entire bike off the floor.

    Cheers

I have a Park Tool PCS-1 workstand for sale. I've been planning to put up a thread but haven't transferred the photos from my camera yet. I bought it around 2001 or so but it hasn't seen much use at all down through the years so it is in excellent condition - it is also very robust so it would be hard to damage it in any way anyway. The legs fold together so it is "flat" for storage. That very robust stand means that It is fairly heavy though which is great when using it since it adds a lot of stability but it makes it just that little bit more awkward to get it out from where I've stored it for the last few years (under the stairs) which is the main reason I've rarely used it for the last few years. Well, that plus not much cycling and a casual (er, lazy!) attitude to bike maintenance for a while now.

I'm looking for €95 for it. I'm in Dublin 16 if you want to see it. In the meantime I'll continue my fight with camera and laptop to pull off the photos so that I can post them but it could be a few days yet for that.

No worries. It is very hard to compare my PCS-1 with current models of Park stand available since both the stand and clamps differ so much from model to model, so putting a value on it is tricky and I may have put an unrealistic value on it. Note that the clamp on my PCS-1 is beefy though, and the latest version of it (which differs from mine only in how it threads to the stand) sells on its own for a little over US$100.
