Resignations and Bye-Elections

This morning announced the loss of multiple FF party members & affiliates. Bit of confusing here on my part though: -Did they just resign their Ministry or their Seat? If so: -How can they pass this fabled Finance Bill with a Minority? -Will they hold bye-elections for the seats? Can anyone clear this up for me?

they have resigned from the cabinet (no longer ministers).
they are still TDs for now, but won't seek re-election in March
