You apply to your community welfare officer at your local health clinic.

Wicklow & Dublin now have to be applied for centrally. CWO no longer deals with. The problem I have is mine was suspended in October by CWO & I now have to reapply centrally.in a normal casde she would just reopen it but now ive to start from scratch. Im afraid it will then effect my RAS application as there is a break of 3 months now. CWO wont give you any info on who , what, where as its not her issue any more. Posters all over the welfare office with a number yet this is permenently engaged ( believe me its off the hook - ive been hitting redial since Monday) & when you google it it says go to your CWO. Not exactly helpful. So if anyone else has been through the process lately please advise. Tks x
