Passport Requirements (Quick Question)

My Passport expires around the end of June and im travelling to the US in mid February, Is this ok or will i need to get a new one before i go.. I heard it needs to be 3/6 months after your arrival date and 3/6 months before your departure date?!? anyone know? :D

How long are you going for? I'm sure as long as you get back by the end of March you should be fine, just make sure to bring a lot of proof of your return (flight confirmation etc) and maybe some ties to Ireland (bank statement, maybe a letter from employer or something) just to be safe.
