Just revising a bit of Psych stuff there and this term has always bugged me a bit.
Motivation, as a construct, where exactly does it fit in.

    Cognition- easy.
    Emotion- easy.
    Behaviour- easy.
    But motivation.

It seems to be stuck somewhere in the middle.
When i read the term, my mind always sees it as "between" cognition/emotion (synthesized) on the one side and behaviour on the other.
But it's still a fuzzy term for me, yet such an important one.
just want to get some thoughts on this.
    Thanks.
