Transferring data from iPod -> iPod

    Hi,
    Just got a nice iPod touch 4th gen, I have an older classic iPod and would like to transfer all my music over to the new touch.

    Worried about losing data, what is the best way to do this ?

    Do you have the original computer that you used to sync your classic iPod?
    Use that to sync the Touch.

    This too shall pass.

    Yeah, but I don't have this , I have Itunes with some music, an Ipod Classic with lots*, this iPod Classic is what I want to transfer to the iPod touch .....


    How ??


    I have found a program iPod to Ipod but it's not working well, also i would like to do this via iTunes if possible.


    *So I am scared to sync cos if i sync wont i lose all music on the classic thats NOT on Itunes on my PC ??


    It seems like it's this way, strange, surely Apple would provide a way for what I would think to be a very common occurence...

    Apple have provided a way to do it....its called iTunes. providing a way to copy directly from one ipod to another would facilitate copying music and get Apple into deep sh*t with the record companies.

    Download a program called sharepod. You can use that to copy music from your Classic to PC. Then import all the music to iTunes and sync with your new iPod Touch.

    Problem solved :D
