Anyone else seen this? It looks absolutely insane :pac:

What happens when an ordinary tire is given the ability to make someone's head explode? Murder spree! Watch the entire trailer for the incredibly messed up film Rubber.

On February 25th, Quentin Dupieux's Rubber is FINALLY getting a release on In Demand, as well as a small release in select theaters on April 1st. This insane flick has been on our must-watch list for ages, and we cannot wait to see it.

    Official Synopsis:

RUBBER is the story of Robert, an inanimate tire that has been abandoned in the desert, and suddenly and inexplicably comes to life. As Robert roams the bleak landscape, he discovers that he possesses terrifying telepathic powers that give him the ability to destroy anything he wishes without having to move. At first content to prey on small desert creatures and various discarded objects, his attention soon turns to humans, especially a beautiful and mysterious woman who crosses his path. Leaving a swath of destruction across the desert landscape, Robert becomes a chaotic force to be reckoned with, and truly a movie villain for the ages. Directed by legendary electro musician Quentin Dupieux (Steak, Nonfilm), aka Mr. Oizo, RUBBER is a smart, funny and wholly original tribute to the cinematic concept of no reason.

    Directed by Mr. Ozio?!!!?

You've always got to wonder whose actually funding this stuff. Looks amusing though.

It's supposed to be decent enough but maybe a little stretched for a full length movie.

    The soundtrack is good though.

It seems like a pisstake of No Country For Old Men. However, I could be wrong.

Watched this last night, it has to be one of the strangest films I have ever seen...I expected it to be a bit off the wall but didn't expect any of that!

Starts off good, but gets fairly dull after the gimmick wears off.Actually fell asleep, which is unusual for me watching anything. But it just bored the ****e out of me.If you want to watch something weird, look at Hausu(house). One of the funniest most bizarre flics I've seen in a good while.

Was disappointed this never made it to cinemas here - is it available for DVD rental?
