Quality films that start with the letter X?

Does anyone know of any quality films (and I don't mean X-Men) that start with the letter X?

Reason being, I'm more than a little OCD when it comes to my movie collection, and I've recently discovered I've films starting with all letters of the alphabet save X. :o

So, any suggestions would be great!

Xanadu, X-Files: I Want to Believe...

    They're good, right?

I'd recommend the first movie - 'X Files: Fight The Future' - it's the better of the two movies IMO!

My girlfriend and I watched the entire X-Files series and 'Fight The Future' leading up the release of 'I Want To Believe' - what a bloody anti-climax! :(

Better than the first IMO... not as "childish".

But I get the opinion that liah wants to stay away from the X-Men franchise... and after X2, I think most people would want to stay away from that franchise! :D

I'm not an X-Files fan, so that film gave me and my friends plenty of inadvertent laughs.

Especially the scene where Scully is looking up something related to genetics on the internet, and then presses the 'print all' button or something equally stupid.

    I miss The X-Files. :(

Still haven't seen the second film yet. After everything I've heard I'm afraid to watch it.

Malcolm X and American History X 'feature' the letter x?

Stare at the image below for about two hours.

Congratulations! You've just watched a better film than I Want to Believe.

    Yeah.. don't!

Seeing much-loved characters like Fox Mulder, Dana Scully and even Walter Skinner after so many years should have been great, but it was just a real disappointment.
Especially the scene where Scully is looking up something related to genetics on the internet, and then presses the 'print all' button or something equally stupid.
And that's probably the least unbelievable thing in 'The X-Files'..

    celebrity-pictures-duchovny-anderson-sexual-tension.jpg

But it was a great show - Duchovny just became better and better in it, and episodes like 'Monday' just shows how inventive the show could be:
A woman is trapped in an endlessly repeating time loop that ends in a tragic bombing in which Mulder and Scully lose their lives every time.

Bear in mind, this was 1999... but back on topic!

You take that back. RIGHT. NOW.

One of the greatest musicals ever.

ELO & Olivia Newton John. Gene Kelly. The bloke who plays the lead (would have loved it to be Travolta) who's name I can't remember, Fantasy & dance.

I don't care if it brings on the ghay in me.

They don't count, wouldn't make sense in my organization system which is alphabetic.. wouldn't solve my problem. :p Plus, I already have AHX.

Another vote here for Xanadu - if only to watch the luminous Miss Olivia Neutron Bomb in her prime. She didn't need special effects, but you got them anyway.

Or, if you want to get more serious, there's XXY: an Argentine film about a 15-year-old "intersex person" that won a Critic's Prize at Cannes - but I haven't seen it.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

We might as well say just The Mexican then.

There are a fair number of Chinese films beginning with X but I can't really recommend any as I haven't watched them.

    Xiao Jiang
    Xi Chu Bawang
Xin tian long ba bu zhi tian shan tong lao ?

Or take your pick from here

Actually, I can recommend Xiyan (The Wedding Banquet) now that I remember the story.

Have you seen xXx? And no, it's not a porn movie.

    Isn't that Vin Diesel?..

I'm not really one for "showy"/hollywood-with-no-substance films, so unfortunately a lot of these X titles aren't great. :(

    My quest continues..

I like that pickarooney, that's thinking outside the box :)

If you like Roger Corman and/or Ray Milland and/or oldies (as I do) you could complete your collection with X: The Man With The X-Ray Eyes.

There seems to be a long series of the worst films in Brazilian history about a character called Xuxa. They bring out one a year and they get less than 2 points on IMDB. Probably not quite what you're looking for.

Also, I reckoned there must have been a film made at some stage about Xerxes and it turns out there's one due for release this year, but I think it's the sequel to 300 so more than likely not something you'll be pre-booking tickets for!

You'll likely find a lot of pornos beginning with 'x' - do they count liah?

There's a movie (documentary) about the influential American punk band X, called X: The Unheard Music, after this song of theirs. It's actually not a bad film.

    I watched that for college
Sembene Oussmane may be heralded as the father of african cinema but my god i find his films to be useless!
I've fallen asleep in college while watching Moolade which is meant to be "amazing"
