So I see that thread today about ''I'm Approaching My 1,000 post etc etc...'' and an uncomfortable question lodges in my brain. Have long term boardsies substituted communication on this site for real, meaningful human interaction?

Did this poster feel proud about their 1,000th post? Did they feel like a ''village elder'' or something. Does their 1,000th post mean they've come of age?

Personally, I think people with over 100 posts are, with all respect, lonely, isolated, sad, possibly overweight, unknown to women, thinly bearded, mother fixated, 40 year old, comic book store guys/girls.

And as for mods- they spend their time sheparding these flocks of sorry afterbirths around this blasted cyber-heath. Pathetic.

My advice to all boardsies over 100 posts would be take a walk or read a book. Maybe even try talking to a girl/guy.

    Later losers.

EDIT: I hope you realise that a machine you already post off and then rereg the mods will get your "usual" account? Nice one.

(I'm pretty sure that's true..............I hope it is..............)

Well rather than using Facebook, or wasting time on various internet sites, some of us are helping others by coming onto boards and posting. It doesn't take 10 minutes to make about 2/3 posts on different topics. In three months or so, you'll have over 100 posts.

My post count is 1.55 per day. That's not much, but I've been on boards for nearly three years. Somedays I won't post, some I'll post 10 - 20 times, it all averages out in the end.

    Boardsies aren't sad.

Just on here to see what's happening with my precious stargate :o and I see your post. I don't post that often any-more, maybe just to ask this most helpful community questions about various things I'm interested outside of the internet, and to talk about general crap from time to time, but it's certainly not an addiction.

You should stay lurking under that bridge, troll.

It's people like you OP that challenge my allegiance and quest for the magic 1,000 posts. But then I think of the moment that 1,000th post is written and forget about social recluses like you!
