    Hi,

Bit confused about this one. In the process of doing up application for husbands trade to be assessed. There is a place on the form where practical assessment can take place. He did his FAS apprenticeship, has his carpenter/joiner certand card from Fetac and has been working as carpenter for 15 years.

My questions is will he have to do the practical assessment (which costs a couple of grand) or will we just have to pay the AUD$300 for assessment to be processed. (I thought only tradesmen that do not have "their papers" but the experience would have to do the practical )
Thanks for your help. There's so much to this visa process!
