Is there anywhere around the County to leave *Plastic* recycling household items such as plastic food-stuffs - ie bottles, milk-cartons that kind of thing. I know can bring them into the "Dump" in town but that has certain Opening Hours. Is there anything such as the the glass recycling units that you'd see outside Dunnes in Terryland but around the county that you could drop them in anytime ..... Actually I think there's similar units in the Supermarket in Lackagh, but again they'd be glass .....

The civic amenity site in Tuam accepts paper, cardboard, plastics, clothes, bottles, electrics, steel and even aerosol cans which is a great facility. Word has it, though, that Galway County Council are thinking of charging customers for using the facility. This would be a disgrace.

Where in Tuam is that Dec? I think that's the place we would normally go to that covers all the categories you can recycle for, unless there's another place in Tuam? I can't find anything online, it just says Tuam County Galway? But I would like if there was some-where you could just drop in your stuff at any time like those Units you would see outside some Supermarkets, except for plastic items as well, not just glass.
