    Hi there all,

Rob's currently shouting at InDesign, so he's asked to post this request thread for submissions for the next issue of 'The Print'.

The deadline for these is 9am on Monday the 7th of February. The paper will be published on the Friday the 11th in time for Valentine's Day on Monday the 14th.

Please e-mail all submissions to theprint@nuimsu.com.

The sections of the paper which you can write for include:

    - Student news (both on-campus and national)
    - Local news
    - Comment
    - Teh Tech
    - Entertainment
    - Culture
    - Sports

With it being Valentine's Day, we'll be accepting lovely-dovey messages for that special someone in your life. Pictures can also be included if you wish.

We're also looking for upcoming events for Clubs & Societies being held between Valentine's Day and Friday the 4th of March.

This issue is also set to feature a special pull-out welfare section, focusing on the topic of young male suicide.

If you're any comments / suggestions, please post them here.

PS. Rob made me make a new thread as wanted people to actually read it (aka. he wants funky_penguin to notice him <3).

Not that I have any issue (at all) with the idea of a pull out supplement on suicide (presumably it'll be about not killing yourself rather than a 'how to'), but why young male suicide only?

This is asked, because the only person in college who I knew who took their own life was a young woman.

I actually remember discussing this with Banquo last year during his election campaign. So now I ask, will there be a follow up supplement dedicated to young female suicide? What about our mature students, any supplement for them?

That'll be addressed in the supplement (which may still change to a section of the paper and not a supplement.)

All contributions - especially gooey Valentine's messages - welcome! Also taking buy/sell ads for student-y things. Books, etc.
