I read in UK mags it is possible to rent.

I dont know what to choose for my next lens . I have a 70 200 and would like something to bring me from 17 to 70

then I see the canon 50mm going cheap on ebay.

Im not sure about the 50mm as I dont have a full size sensor.

    I need to test

    I want at least f2.8

    can one rent in Lenster

ISS are less than half the price of Conns.

ISS, DML and Conns Cameras are the places in Dublin which I have previously rented lenses from.

All are reasonable in service and the price drops the more often they see you, in the past I've "borrowed" lenses from my local camera shop for several days and never paid a penny...well.... until I made a couple of purchases (its good to have a good relationship with your local camera shop)

DML I've rented Hasselblad stuff from, Canon stuff from the other two places.

    ISS - Image Supply Systems
    DML - Data Micrographics Limited

gsx .... theres a sigma 17-70mm f2.8 lens if that interests you....but if you have the money and want to invest ...get the 16-35mm !!

(I'm guessing you are talking about Canon equipment - if not ... I'm sure Nikon or other maker has similar lenses)

Really depends what you'll be taking photos of. I have a 16-35 but was recently using my friends 24mm and I really want it.
