tape recorder

    I need to find a ceap tape recorder to record somebody talking (Instead of taking notes). Anybody know where I can buy such a thing in Galway??? Would the likes of Currys or PC World have such a thing?

    Most mobile phones have a recording facility, have you checked your mobile?

    Otherwise they might be still selling those micro-cassette models in the electrical shops. You can also buy digital recorders which write on to memory cards, these are what most journalists use these days, you'll see a pile of them on the table at most big press conferences.

    Here's a cheap (25 euros) Olympus micro-cassette model in Argos....
