ACCA Qualified: Move from Financial Services

    Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to move from being an accountant in financial services to working as an accountant in Manufacturing.

    I did a Finance degree in Ucc, qualified in 2005, spent 2 years working in Funds but didnt want to get pigeon holed, therefore I moved to a financial accounting role in a reinsurance company.

    I dont work on the reinsurance side, mainly accounts tax, quarterly accounts etc, its a small company so good experience. I have done this job for 3 years.

    I have been based in the IFSC, however now I am looking into moving home but most of the jobs are in manufacturing, is there any way to change career paths? Maybe I could do some courses? Any ideas? BTW, I have 1 years PQE.
