cima to acca:advice pretty please

    hi i have first 3 operational level exams passed in CIMA (6 exams left)

    now want to swap these for ACCA(as looking to move to states)

    how many exemptions will i get for acca?

    is acca easier than cima

    You can find out about exemptions for various courses on accaglobal.com.

    As far as I know you won't get any exemptions solely for passing a couple of CIMA exams. <- Note, this was me being wrong. There are some exemptions for passing certain papers

    ACCA and CIMA are probably comparable in difficulty, however I doubt anyone took both sets of exams just to compare them.

    Hi Op,

    You started CIMA for a reason – has your career plan changed?

    If it’s solely for exam reasons you’d be unwise to change. ACCA exams are not easier. You’ll most likely end up doing more ACCA exams than what you have remaining with CIMA.

    WELL lets say I do all the cima exams get top cima
    How many acca exams am I to do then?

    ACCA have an exemption database that easy to use on their website. 2 mins of searching and you should find it.
