......as above, has anyone here dealt and bought from www.myblinds .ie?

Just saw their ad on RTE 1 and am interested to know about them and hear from anyone here who has had dealings with them.

Going to be looking around for blinds soon myself.

    Thanks.:)

Yes, in fact I asked this very question here, late last year.

I ordered 10 samples first. This was their sample limit. At the time the site would only allow me to put 6 samples in the shopping basket, but with a quick conversation via email, I ordered the remaining 4 using a second order.
This bug may have been fixed by now.

The samples arrived and were a decent size, maybe A5 size. Big enough to be able to see light through them and see how it might affect their colour.

I went ahead and ordered 6 blinds. My husband measured the windows using their instructional video as a guide. I most note that he is very particular, so we sent measurements that were to two decimal places, e.g. 10.12cm
Blinds arrived and they were as expected. They were very well wrapped and there was no transit damage. The colours matched the samples. I ordered all neutral colours. I also ordered 2 black out blinds, which do work.

One blind was missing a cover for the roller section, but to be honest I just never got around to asking them for it. There were a few threads left uncut from where the embroidery finish was stitched to the blind, but I cut them off myself.

One or two blinds hang a little crooked, but this is because the windows themselves are crooked. I guess caused by uneven plastering. So I can't fault the blinds.

All in all I was quite happy with myblinds. I have 2 bathroom windows to go, so I will be ordering from myblinds again.

I have absolutely no connection with this company. When I posted my question last year, it was to find out where they were based. As it turns out, they are in Cork.

    Just found my old thread:
