Are there any known common issues I should know about
for this gun before I attempt to open her up for a peek inside ?

Took this out to Skirmish for the very first time since I bought it a few months back. Twas working fine on semi and full auto before I left home, and was working fine when test firing it at the skirmish site. As soon as the whistle blew for the very first skirmish that morning, I squeeze the trigger and nothing happens!

No motor noise, no sound, no movement or attempted movement of gears, no rattleing of unseated parts
nothing at all. I dont think its a gear box lock up as
    I would have heard it.

Battery was fully charged, I checked with another battery.
Connector is fine and making contact.
Fuse is fine and I even tried bypassing it.
    Wiring to motor is fine.

Have not opened it up fully yet, trigger still feels the same
so wondering if it may be something to do with contacts?

Anyone care to take a guess at what my be wrong?
Wondering where else could the connection be broken.

One of these days must get some sort of flow chart diagram of things to check and what causes might be!

Take the gearbox plate off and push the gearbox up a little, then replace and try again, if that fails remove the gearbox and see if it fires then.

Cheers, Dont know what caused it but see whats wrong.
Not sure if its the cut off lever that got stuck?? and did not allow the trigger contacts to move fully back and make contact. Moved it back down so it fires again outside the shell. will see what happens when I put it back together again. Thanks

[EDIT] all back together again and fireing, Thanks for the help lefty.
saves me a lot of frustration.
Must google to see how to prevent it from happening again.

That happened to mine a few times when I first got it too, after a while it stopped happening, unfortunately I've no reason as to why it happens, sorry Bullets.

I could be completely wrong but I thought I read some review someplace that said there was an issue with a part
that needed to be either rounded or shaped to a point.

    This bit maybe?
