Turbo blew on vectra cdti

hi all, have to get a new engine and turbo on a 2007 vectra 1.9cdi 120bhp,turbo blew and was drove on and danaged the engine , actually i have sourced a fairly cheap one out of a 2006 model at 500quid with 79k miles on it.. but the car breakers says that although it will fit ok it will not run the best as the 2007 model…

other breakers i spoke to say its makes no difference and the pump does not need to be recoded either but i really need to be 100% sure as do want to run into trouble later on..

Use the pump and injectors from your fcuked engine;)

sold the old engine ...
2 guys that break these told me that a 2006 and 2007 were the same while others saying they are not.. if i only knew for sure..
main dealers not sure either
