I currently have a motorised (I metre) dish will I be able to fit a Ka band lnb and cabling (or is their a multi Ka/Ku lnb setup) and get the RTE sat channels when they come on stream?

    Location west coast IOM.

    Maybe but possibly not.

You need separate ka LNBF and then you would have no Ku. Bad idea on Motorised. I doubt your motor & dish is stable enough for 1m on Ka Band.

Thanks for that. The Dich is pretty stable but I wouldn't want to lose the Ku band.

I will go for a seperate dish and feed or (if the worst comes to the worst)wait for the 'wick' to be turned up on DTT at Clermont Carn.

    Thanks again.

but a 1m dish on Ku looks like almost 1.8m on Ka
Hence the need for greater stability.
