    Hi All,

have a 2009 MBP, with apple care. My battery is saying it needs to be serviced and I was on to Apple and I can have it replaced. My issue is they want to take it for up to a week!
Where is the best service provider in Dub and usually how quickly can they change a battery? Anyone have any experience with a similar issue?

    Thanks in advance...

Changing the battery is easy. There's no reason why they couldn't do it on the spot, but they might want a day or so.

It'd take literally 20 mins to replace a battery. All that's required is to unscrew the base, and pull out the old battery and insert the new one. Simples.

    Thanks Guys,

I know how easy it is to change the battery, I could do it myself if Apple would send me out one, but they will not and they have said if I have them collect it it would take 2 weeks. As I am in London this week, I suggested that I go to an Apple Store and they said they would have to keep it.
Anyone used any Apple Auth. Service providers in Dub who are good, any recommendations?

    Tanks,

    Gary
