Good night out. The bridgestone fighters did brilliantly. Fair play to Shane Mc Conkey stepping up to fight Mike Harty in only his second pro fight on short notice. Respect!

Fight of the night for me was Mc Guinness / O' Keefe. A real war from start to finish. Mc Guinness' experience the deciding factor in the end.

Thanks Greg, what could have been a disaster of a night turned out to be another great show, thanks to all of the fighters and coaches especially Waterford Muaythai and Bridgestone Muaythai.

The main event was cancelled when Brendan O'Shea not only failed to make the agreed weight (the fight was made LAST OCTOBER!!!) AND we agreed to allow him weigh-in in Cork even though EVERY other fighter including one of Brendan's did it in Galway. However, due to the late effort to make weight he suffered dehydration and didn't travel. One of my own lads suffered a concussion in a rugby match a couple of weeks ago (without letting me know) and the Doctor wouldn't allow him fight.

However, Shane McConkey stepped up at short notice to fight Mike Harty and boy did he bring a fight! Waterford Muaythai really stepped up and TWO of their fighters stepped in at short notice, thanks to JJ Power and Davy Phelan.

As I was under pressure, I didn't see a lot of the fights so here are the results that I do know.

Not sure of who won between Kate Healy and Maria Gonzalas but

Gavin Shehan beat Steven Fahy on points,
Christian Shehan beat Morgan Commins on points
Eoghan Joyce beat Davy Forde on points
Declan McGuinness beat Rob O'Keefe on points in a great very close fight
Gary Walsh and Gary Fay was a draw
    Aslan Bisayev TKOed Gary Ormond
Mike Harty beat Shane McConkey on points

Thanks to everyone who helped out and made this another great show, ye're help was greatly appreciated.
