Watermill Pump Replacement

    Hi,
    My girlfriends aparment has a combi tank and copper cylinder and the showers and taps are pumped via a Watermill 2.0 Bar pump. This pump gives a fair bit of trouble and a plumber wants €450 to replace it along with €120 labour and he won't even wire it up. He wants an electrician to do that bit.
    So I'm thinking of replacing it myself. I'll get the exact spec later. I've been told that the wiring is just 3 wires into a junction box and the pipe fittings are either screw on or push lock fittings.
    Can anyone recomment a better brand of pump. He mentioned monsoon.
    Is this a hand DIY job or is there anything I need to be wary of?

    How is the pump connected? I presume it's via flexible hoses.

    I just checked and the pump is a Watermill PC50DLV Pump with 4 hose connections and a transformer. It's made by Grundfos.
    The plumber reckons it's too small for the whole apartment as it powers the showers, sinks, kitchen sink and toilets.
    Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement. We're renting out the apartment and want something that won't give trouble.
