Pay Period Changed for December

    Quick Q if you will.

    Part time worker and according to my contract I should get paid on the last Friday of every month. For December I got paid three weeks pay instead of four around half way during the month because of a public holiday falling on the normal pay day I believe.

    The way pay is worked out, pretty much all of my Christmas pay and January is due at the end of this month now.

    Is this legal, and how will it affect my taxes?

    (Can't find much on the web on it)
