I have noticed recently that my middle box of my exhaust is catching speed bumps. I got under and noticed it has dropped a lot. Cant see how it has happened. If I took the middle box off I know make it louder but would it have any other effects and would I pass an NCT without it?
    Thanks.

It'll only get a little louder, and you will pass NCT with it.

None as long as you have a straight pipe going back to your cat!
    garda will pull you over;)

I've a full straight-through system and Garda don't pull me over?

    OP, what car is it?

If you need someone to make you up a straight pipe, check out www.custommetalwork.ie

Nowhere near as loud as that!

I had a 2.5" system on my car until the other week...I got those lads to make me up a 2" system without the middle section and she's a lot quieter!

Until I open her up that is...;) :P

You'd be looking at getting a 1.5" system I'd say though, and you're standard backbox won't be loud as it is, so you'll be fine :D
