Hi all, apologies if this posted in wrong forum. I have a well as my water supply and lately the water coming into house is dirty...full of floating debris but not discoloured.

Does anyone know if the well pump has a filtering system attached to it? I put in a new pump 3 years ago.

Or any ideas what might be the problem?

I wouldnt assume a well pump would have a filtering system attached, unless you purchases 'well pump' with filter system.

Outside of the pump you might have to install a filter to regulate the debris. Weather condition or subsidence might be a cause for additional debris.

Has there been any shift in the inflow valve i.e is it sitting higher / lower in the well?
