    Quick question:

What are the legal implications of setting up a polish internediary website (acting as a broker between buyer and seller) and operating from Ireland.

I don't need to set up a Polish company or anything, do I?

    Cheers,
    Dean.

Hi Dean, what do you mean by a Polish company that is operating from Ireland?

I don't know what you mean, do you mean the company would use the Polish language or sell Polish products?

    Hi,

I mean basically operating a website (not selling physical goods) that is aimed at the polish market.

For example, daft.ie operate a polish daft from ireland. But do they have to set up a company in poland to pay taxes etc.. ?

    - Dean.

Nope, but if your operating in Ireland you will need to pay Irish taxes. And if you cross the thresholds for VAT (in Ireland or Poland) you would have to register for and charge the appropriate VAT.
