    Hi Guys,

Looking to get a windscreen replaced without insurance in South Dublin area.

92 Toyota Starlet, got quoted e243 from Autoglass which i think is a bit excessive...

Any recommendations for places I could call?

    Cheers

If you're not insured for windscreen replacement all places charge around €240. Your best bet is to get to a scrapyard and see can you pick up a windscreen for around €40 and get a windscreen fitter to fit it as a cash job. I did this once - the guy charged €90 so €130 total although that was a few years ago and you may find it hard to find a windscreen in a breakers for a car as old as yours...worth a shot tho!
