    Hey all,

Am just wondering if Warrior Assault gear sold on uktactical.com are real steal or just good quality replicas or other?

And to people that own some of their gear- how do you find it? any feedback worth sharing? etc.

    Thankin' you in advance :)

if you mean real steel as used by real soldiers then yes, there top quality gear, uk-tactical own design although based on established patterns

excellent quality, hard wearing and good value

British Troops in Afghanistan use the gear. I've the RICAS Compact myself and it's a fantastic bit of kit. Shipping takes two days. Loads of lads I know have their gear.

I'll throw up better feedback later.:)

As Puding says WAS kit is the real deal. The quality is outstanding although you will pay for the privilege as it isn't the cheapest gear around. I have 2x chest rigs and also used to have a plate carrier and they are/were all outstanding in terms of quality of the materials used and the workmanship. If frontline soldiers trust WAS gear then I know it will do the job for me.

Service from UK Tactical is first class. However, the 2-day shipping isn't cheap and that's the only option available to Ireland. One point I would mention is to be sure that everything you want is in stock by asking for a quote via email (including the links to the exact items is advisable), they will email you a quote and confirm that everything is available. If something you want isn't in stock they usually have a good idea when it is due in.

Thanks for the speedy response lads,

Very reasuring to know, Sounds really good, sure if it can be used in Real combat it'll hold for us airsofters right? :D

Am looking to get one of those Chest Rigs(would you recommend?) as sadly to say every piece of airsoft replica gear i'v ever bought have broken in some shape or form so i thought i'd pick myself up somthing that is garanteed to work. and I'm sure you would agree.

Thanks for the responses guys, keep em comin' :)

It'll hold, all their gear comes with a 5 year guarantee anyway, Win!

You can swing a cow out of the plate carriers, I'm sure you could to the same with the chest rigs.

I've been nothing but impressed with my RICAS rig, it's comfy, warm (not so good in summer),has loads of MOLLE space and sits perfectly, you'll find yourself adjusting your rig several times until you get it just right.

Shweet! what a investment! I think my mind is made up! now to count the pennies and start budgeting...

I have a crappy replica Chest Rig already and some of the molle straps have come off the stitches already and i'v had to do alot of stitch work with the buckles... for somthing that cost 40€ i'd rather pay 3 times the cost for somthing that'll deffo work!

If only i had known earlier... frown.gif

Check out OddysAirsoft YouTube channel & you'll see Oddy & myself wearing the Centurion Combo Mk1 chest rigs in OD/Coyote/MultiCam, Oddy also wears a PLB & Harness loadout occasionally.

There are several nice features on the Centurion Combo, including
    • The back can be removed for a high-speed/low-drag setup
    • The base unit can hold 8x Stanags as standard which leaves the front molle free for whatever you want
    • Front panel folds away if you don't want it & there is a large zipped compartment behind the mags for wallet/keys/etc.
There are two versions of the Centurion, the standard 'Professional' and more expensive 'Elite Ops'. There are minor differences in the design but overall they are the same, the difference is that the Elite Ops uses different dying processes & thread so it will be 98% IR invisible for those using it for real.

My main rig is this: http://www.uktactical.com/acatalog/Elite_Ops_Centurion_Mk1_Combo.html with a selection of MultiCam pouches

My secondary is the Professional version in OD. I have it set up with exactly the same pouches with everything in the same place so there is no functional difference between the two.

I'm happy to meet up @ some stage so you can have a look for yourself. The choice is bewildering so make sure you know what you're looking for before you order, I didn't and ended up with a plate carrier I didn;t get on with despite its quality.

Can't say enough good things about the warrior stuff - and uktactical as well to be honest.
I've tried a few different brands of stuff - from cheapo clone stuff, pantac chest rigs and warrior vests/rigs. Warrior are the best I've come across so far.
My only gripe is that certain stuff goes out of stock mega quick - I've been chasing a particular set of gloves for ages - they've come back in stock a few times but are gone before I get a chance to cop that they're back and order. Website checking fail on my part...

    Plagiarist.

In other news, +1 on WAS stuff (and UK-Tactical in general). I've got pouches that've seen dogs abuse over three years old and still going.

You'd think. I've had several pieces of Blackhawk kit fall apart on me, and it costs far more than Warrior Assault Systems gear (which is actually quite cheap). Warrior Assault Systems is miles better in my opinion.
