ok, so im developing a website, and have purchased 2 domains, and i am looking to host them on a digiweb hosting package, but when i go to transfer the domains im getting hit with a 35 euro charge. does this mean im going to have to either pay this charge for each domain, or just buy hosting off letshost.ie who are the crowd i bought the domains off initially?

To answer your question: no, you don't need to transfer a domain to your hosting company in order to host a site on it.

What you need to do is update your nameservers for the domain so that they point to the place you want the site hosted. I could tell you how to do that but a) it's a bit convoluted and b) boards.ie don't allow discussion of specific web hosting companies (for various good reasons). My advice is give your hosting company or your domain providers support line a call and either should be able to talk you through it.

i had an idea the nameservers had something to do, but the companies seem to try and hide all that information and make it as complicated as possible for ya so that ya buy everything off them it seems, have got it done, thanks a million trojan!
