Have the flights booked for the summer, just need to organise accommodation. Can anyone recommend somewhere family friendly to stay please? What would be the best resort - have been looking at Altea, Benidorm and Denia but would appreciate some first hand information (not limited to these resorts). Also, for a family, would you recommend an apartment or villa? I would like to stay somewhere within easy walking distance of shops/activities and where the kids will have other children to play with, but must have a pool and two bedrooms.

Any information to help me make a decision would be great. Thanks.
