Advice on purchasing a laptop I3, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD

    Hi,

    Im on the look out for a new laptop:

    Preferable a
    Core I3
    4GB Ram
    500GB HD
    HDMI

    I see PC world and Curries have a offer on this HP laptop with the above spec:

    Does anyone know of any other good offers out there similar to this, Or has anyone purchased this laptop, how do you find it, The mousepad is flush with the casing of laptop, Does anyone find any issues with this.

    Any advice would be appreciated?

    if you can stretch budget a bit further i got a 17" xps from dell with i5 processor, 4gb rm, 500gb hdd, 1gb nvidia gt435m video card, free antivirus free lojack etc etc,

    €850

    must have a look into Dell laptops also, My budget is in around 600 euros,
    Would like a Sony, But doubt you would get anything like the spec im looking for, for that price :)

    The basic xps 15 is €650 thats pretty much specced out like you wanted, yeah dell do great value and the reviews are great for these new xps family for build quality etc.
