Fiat Punto exhaust problem

    Hey there,

I was out driving today and right after pulling out of a turn I heard an odd sound followed by a change in the sound of the car itself.

On checking it the noise appears to be exhaust rather than the engine and the car now sounds a lot louder, rougher and deeper when idling and revved (particularly in 1st - 3rd gear).

I can't see anything hanging off, which is about the extent of my mechanical expertise, but can only assume a mount/bracket has come off the exhaust and is allowing it to vibrate more than it would have before.

I know this added growl is something some people would pay good money for but I'd rather get it sorted asap, for fear of it leading to bigger problems down the line.

Would anyone have any experience with this kind of problem (assuming I'm right) and would someone be able to give me an indication of the cost of getting it fixed? I need to have one or two other things looked at while I'm in there so depending I might be able to get them all sorted at once - I just want to know if I can afford to or not.

    Cheers.

I'd be pretty sure thats your exhaust, Most common to break would be either the last part (furtherst to the right), or the middle part.

Price, at a guess €90-€130 fitted and everything.
