Hello, just wondering if there is a sports injury doctor or physio on campus or a student friendly physio in the village? I've been struggling with a knee injury the past few months and dont really fancy coughing up a load of money etc.

    Cheers.

Might be worth asking at the sports centre as I'm sure they could recommend the best/cheapest for students.

Therapy Xperts do a student rate of €50, that much I know for certain.

The Leinster Clinic also have a physio on the premises, they are located about a hundred yards past the college on the Kilcock road.

They are two that I know the Sports Centre have recommended to people in the past.

At the Leinster Clinic the price depends on which physio you get. One guy is €60 for the first physio session and then €50 for every one after that but the more expensive guy is €80 for the first and €60 for every one after.

Also, if you injured your knee playing with a college club maybe you can claim insurance?

I've been using Carton Clinic the past few weeks and found them fairly good. Price is 50 euro for an hours session. If you want to make an appointment details are here http://www.cartonclinic.ie/contact/index.html
If you use the drop a line thing on the page you'll get a response fairly quickly.

I've also been to the Leinster clinic and while they have by far the best rehab equipment of anywhere I've been, they are fairly expensive. 80 for the initial appointment I think and 60 afterwards. Sessions can also only last half an hour. The physio there just didn't work for me but everyone is different.

I thought there was a physio on campus that students could use for free? I was planning on going next week as hamstrings are really bad, but cant afford to pay for physio....?
