download an app called 'instant heart rate'

Place your finger over the camera lense and it will display your heart rate-really works too!

    Hi,

I'm the developer the Instant Heart Rate. Which phone are you using? Which firmware version? Which country?

    Cheers,

Great little app, it's pretty accurate when I compared it to my "real" HRM (garmin/polar) for both resting and elevated heart rates.

I got it there, (HTC Legend) works great!

Tried it both rested and after climbing the stairs, both were accurate.

On devices with decent performance and flash it's 100% accurate.

True, but I was factoring in that you have to hold it still in your hand which is easy when sitting down, but not when cycling :)

Having said that, it is never meant to compete with Garmin/Polar!

    Keep up the good work
