    Hey All,

Just trying to get a quick idea for value of the '99 model of this Honda Civic:

    http://www.carzone.ie/search/Honda/Civic/1.4-I-SP/201050200597425/advert?channel=CARS

The mileage on mine is at around 75,000m, one previous owner, timing and fan belts changed 2 years ago. No other major work in the last 5 years since I have owned it. Car in good condition and never been in a crash.

Nct and Tax due this month.

Any ideas at what is a reasonable selling price? Or is the €2,000 mark about right?

    Cheers!

get yourself some honda hub caps and steel wheels and sell those alloys separately. the first think i though when i opened the advert was '97 civic, over 100k, nasty alloys, aftermarket stereo, failed attempt at covering up a boy racer car'.

maybe lots of other folk will be thinking the same.

    maybe im right.

way off the mark at 2250 i reckon. id be droping below the 2k mark anyway. i know you want to leave room for haggling, but you dont want to price yourself out of the game entirely.

I've seen Nissan sylvia s14's (non-turbo) floating around for ~2k mark in the last week. You can pick up an IS200 for ~1800. It's a 12 year old civic. It's not worth anywhere near 2k.
